Dry flies that work in April on a small stream probably are not going to be the same flies preferred for fishing big western rivers in July.  That is why we created the Deadly Dozen Dry Fly Assortment.  You will need to adjust your patterns based on location and season. Give us all the information you can and well put together one, two, three, or even four dozen dry flies that we feel will be effective on trout for you.  Our Deadly Dozens are rarely the same. We’ll choose the best available flies that are best suited to the information you provide us.

THE BEST DRY FLIES FOR THE JOB

An angler needs to have the right dry fly to fool fish.  It should float well enough to see, but may need to sit low enough in the water to properly imitate an emerging insect.  All situations are different.  We like to provide anglers with a proper mix of buoyant and visible flies, mixed with a few low riders that have more subtle features for spooky fish.
